About the CNI Charter Funds
The CNI Charter Funds (the "Trust") is a series of funds that cover a broad spectrum of investing options. Four of the funds in the Trust (the "Funds") are advised by CCM Advisors, LLC ("CCMA"), a registered investment advisor. The Funds started in 1988 with the support of the American Hospital Association as a means to provide hospitals with tobacco-free investment opportunities and were opened to the general public in 2004. The four different investment options that are offered range from conservative fixed income to all equity funds. All of the Funds advised by CCMA are tobacco-free.
Now all investors can participate in these Funds, which previously were only available to hospitals and other AHA - related institutions. Large institutions can purchase the Institutional Class (Class I) shares of the fund. In 2004, a no-load Individual Class (Class N) of the funds was created for individuals and smaller institutions. Both classes are managed the same, but have slightly different cost structures. More information about the two share classes can be found in the CNI Charter Funds' Prospectuses, Annual Report, Semi-Annual Report, and Statement of Additional Information.
The CNI Charter Funds are distributed by SEI Investments Distribution Co. ("SIDCO"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SEI Investment Company and a registered broker-dealer. SIDCO is not affiliated with CCMA or the Trust.
